Vehicles
New Easy Access buses will be used for Rapid Transit service. These buses will feature:
- Low-floor designs for universal access,
- Air conditioning,
- Cushioned seating,
- Large windows,
- Automated “Next Stop” displays and announcements,
- Automated External Route Destination announcements for waiting passengers when the front door of the bus opens at stops and stations,
- Modern Styling.
New technologies, such as electric-hybrid propulsion, will be considered once they have been proven for use in winter climates.
