Active Transportation
New Active Transportation Pathways (ATP) will be built as part of the Southwest Rapid Transit Corridor – Stage 1 project:
- An off-street ATP between Pembina & Jubilee and Osborne & Glasgow to connect with the existing South Winnipeg Parkway (a riverside ATP on the west bank of the Red River between Queen Elizabeth Way & Stradbrook and Glasgow Avenue near Osborne Sreet).
- Improvements to the west sidewalk of Osborne Street between Glasgow Avenue and the Osborne Street underpass for a shared sidewalk ATP.
- A new shared sidewalk ATP between Osborne Station and Queen Elizabeth & Stradbrook on the south side of Corydon, the east side of Donald Street, and the south side of Stradbrook Avenue.
- Improvements to the west sidewalk of Queen Elizabeth Way, Main Street Bridge, and Main Street between Stradbrook and Assiniboine Avenues for a shared sidewalk ATP.
