Snow and Ice Removal (Accessing your Property)

In order to provide safe transportation for our passengers, Handi-Transit requires driveways and walkways to be clear of snow and ice before pickup and drop-off times. Anytime a driver feels it is unsafe to enter or exit a driveway, or to load or unload a customer due to slippery conditions, the driver does not provide pickup/
drop-off at that location.

The responsibility of cleaning access to homes and buildings is the responsibility of the passenger. It is important to make every effort to make sure your property has safe, clean and easy access for Handi-Transit drivers.
